Las Vegas Metropolitan Police are on the hunt for a suspect following a shooting that injured two individuals late Monday night, close to the intersection of Sahara and Eastern avenues. The incident occurred at approximately 10:06 p.m., near Karen Avenue and McLeod Drive, as reported by News 3 LV. Officers arriving at the scene found one person with gunshot wounds, promptly transporting them to the hospital for treatment.

During their hospital visit, officers were informed that a second victim arrived suffering from gunshot wounds as well. Both victims' injuries are thankfully assessed as non-life-threatening, although the nerves of the local community being shattered, need an ongoing search for an elusive suspect. Information provided by FOX5 Vegas also indicated that the area was closed temporarily but has since reopened as investigators continue to piece together the circumstances surrounding the shooting.

Despite the late-night chaos and subsequent police activity, specific details about the suspect remain vague, as per LVMPD. Both news outlets confirm that detectives and crime scene analysts are working hard to uncover possible leads that might reveal the identity and motive behind the shooter.
