
The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police are investigating a hit-and-run collision that occurred last Wednesday on East Cheyenne Avenue, west of Marion Drive. Officials have obtained video footage of the suspect's vehicle, identified as a light-colored 1999-2000 Chevrolet Tahoe or GMC Yukon. A hit-and-run accident occurred late at night when a white pickup truck struck a 25-year-old woman who was in the roadway. The driver did not stop and continued westbound on Cheyenne. The woman was taken by ambulance to UMC Trauma with life-threatening injuries and is currently receiving medical care. Authorities are investigating the incident, as reported by the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department.
"This collision remains under investigation by the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department's Collision Investigation Section," according to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department. The department is looking for the driver involved and has released the vehicle's make and model.
