Credit One Bank and the Las Vegas Raiders, represented by Maxx Crosby, have made a $100,000 charitable contribution through their "One For The Community" program. The donation, presented at the YMCA of Southern Nevada, highlights the collaboration between the athlete and the financial institution to support local communities, as reported by News3LV.
The Raiders' defense recorded 38 sacks during the 2024 season, with each sack contributing $2,000, as pledged by Credit One Bank, according to BVM Sports. While the total amount raised was $76,000, Credit One Bank rounded up the figure, bringing the final donation to $100,000. The funds were divided equally, with $50,000 allocated to the Maxx Crosby Foundation and $50,000 to the YMCA, to support programs for children and animals.
At the Heinrich YMCA field, Crosby participated in activities beyond his athletic performance, interacting with local youth by throwing footballs and signing autographs, symbolizing the connection between the team, the community, and corporate support. As reported by News3LV, representatives from Credit One Bank and various foundations recognized the impact of these contributions on the community. Todd Mayhew, Senior Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer at Credit One Bank and Chair of the Board at the YMCA of Southern Nevada, acknowledged the importance of these efforts, stating, "Credit One Bank’s continued support is inspiring, and having the privilege of a partner as dedicated as Maxx Crosby is unmatched."
Looking ahead, the Raiders’ plans for 2025 appear to maintain a focus on community outreach, with Crosby, as a prominent figure in these efforts, suggesting that future initiatives may focus on teen addiction awareness and support—issues that are personally significant to him.
