A bit of fortune has swept into Latrobe, Pennsylvania, where a local grocery store sold a Pennsylvania Lottery ticket that will bestow upon its holder a permanent weekly stipend of $1,000. If the winner opts out of the lifelong weekly check, they can take home a lump sum of $1 million cash instead. This Cash4Life ticket, sold at the Shop 'n Save on Dailey Avenue, held the lucky combination of numbers 13-21-29-38-57 from last night's drawing, as Audacy reported.
The winning ticket owner was shrouded in anonymity, prompting a swirl of curiosity and excitement within the community. Per the Pennsylvania Lottery rules, they'll have an entire year to step forward and claim their prize, an annuity allotment of $52,000 a year for life.
Interestingly, the Shop ‘n Save that sold the golden ticket will not be left out of the fortunes. They’re set to receive a $10,000 selling bonus for their role in this bit of serendipity, as confirmed by WPXI.
