On January 1, an explosion at Trump International Hotel Las Vegas led to witnesses having to surrender their clothing as investigative evidence. Left with only hazmat suits, these individuals were assisted by Sgt. Brambilla.
According to a social media post by LVMPD, "Sgt. Brambilla went above and beyond to care for affected witnesses." The officer took action by spending $350 on new clothes to help the individuals regain some dignity. Sgt. Brambilla made multiple trips to ensure the clothing fit properly, reflecting the LVMPD's focus on protection, service, and support.
His actions have been recognized with accolades and a staycation package from the LVMPD Foundation and Resorts World Las Vegas. The 'Good Ticket' program, which the award is part of, aims to recognize officers who go beyond their duties.
