A man has been arrested and is now facing homicide charges after a deadly altercation erupted within the confines of McKeesport's Tube City Cafe. Yesterday afternoon, a heated argument turned into a shooting, leaving one man dead and another accused of firing the gun.
Allegheny County Police have apprehended 39-year-old Floyd Noell, implicating him in the murder of Darnell Ross, aged 37. According to WTAE, officers who responded to the incident found Ross with wounds in the upper part of his body. He was subsequently declared deceased at UPMC McKeesport Hospital. The encounter was captured on surveillance footage, both from inside and outside the establishment, and police claim the video shows Ross attempting to disarm Noell before shots were fired.
CBS News Pittsburgh reported that after Ross entered the bar, he was confronted by Noell, leading to a struggle that ended with Ross being shot twice. Following the incident, Noell was seen fleeing the scene in a black SUV, which a sergeant from the McKeesport Police Department later located.
