The Orange County Sheriff's Office (OCSO) responded to the scene around 11:30 p.m. at an apartment complex off Silver Star Road, where they found the man with "obvious signs of trauma," ClickOrlando reported.
Despite the efforts of the first responders, the injured man was pronounced dead after being taken to a hospital. The OCSO has since launched an investigation into the events that led to the man's death. However, details concerning the circumstances of the battery and information about potential suspects remain undisclosed.
