A man was wounded in a drive-by shooting in Hollywood on Sunday evening, with the incident occurring at around 6:40 p.m. near N. Gower Street and Willoughby Avenue, next to the Hollywood Forever Cemetery, CBS Los Angeles reported. Authorities provided details that the suspects, three individuals in a car, escaped the scene heading northbound on Gower Street inside a black GMC Yukon, though their identities remain unknown as the investigation continues.
The condition of the victim, who was hospitalized with stable vital signs, was not immediately known according to the Los Angeles Police Department; however, as per details furnished by MyNewsLA, a suspect exited the vehicle to carry out the shooting and then reentered the mode of transportation and the group of suspects parted ways fleeing in their vehicle and they continue to be at large, their license plate number was not available. One of the suspects has been described as a Hispanic man donning a black ski mask and another as a Hispanic man with a beard, the third suspect, unfortunately, remains undescribed in the chaos that has since ensued.
