According to Action News 5, the Memphis Police Department is currently investigating the incident which took place around 10 p.m. on Lapaloma Street. Upon arrival, officers discovered a man who was pronounced dead at the scene.
The identity of the victim has not been released, as authorities continue to piece together the events that led to this tragic outcome. As reported by FOX13 Memphis, the shooting occurred near Hays Road and East Person Avenue. However, details about the motives or identity of the perpetrator remain, as of yet, elusive.
Memphis Police Department has not provided information on any possible suspects. Community members with information that might shed light on the incident are urged to come forward.
