A Memphis Police Department officer was involved in a three-vehicle crash last night near Raleigh, according to police reports. The accident occurred at Grand Pyramid Drive and Egypt Central Road just before 8 p.m., when a squad car collided, sending the officer to Baptist Memorial Hospital with non-critical injuries, as WREG reported.
Memphis Police have yet to release details on what caused the crash. The department is currently investigating the circumstances leading up to the incident. FOX13 Memphis noted that the collision involved an MPD squad car and happened at 7:59 p.m., but the names of the officer and any other individuals potentially involved have not been disclosed.
