
The Metropolitan Police Department is currently investigating a serious hit-and-run incident that occurred last week in Northeast D.C. An adult male pedestrian suffered life-threatening injuries after being struck from behind by an ATV while walking on Michigan Avenue. According to a police report, the collision took place at roughly 5:05 p.m. last Thursday and the driver of the ATV fled the scene immediately after the accident.
EMS personnel transported the victim to a hospital for treatment as the search for the suspect continued. Metropolitan Police Department has released surveillance footage capturing the suspect riding the ATV in the vicinity of the crash.
