Two suspects have been nabbed in connection with a series of organized retail thefts shaking up the business community in Moreno Valley, with the total stolen goods valued at over $22,000. The Riverside County Sheriff's Department announced the arrests of Jesus Miguel Robles, 47, and Maclean Andrew Short, 35, as the culprits behind the crime spree stretching back to September 7, 2024, according to the Riverside County Sheriff's Department.

On Wednesday, deputies conducted several search warrants within Moreno Valley that led to the recovery of high-end sunglasses, electric scooters, and a multitude of other items traced to the theft ring, one of the warrant searches took place at Robles' place on Silent Creek Road, and both suspects hail from Moreno Valley. Robles and Short are now being held at the Robert Presley Detention Center, facing charges related to burglary, grand theft, and organized retail theft, with Short additionally charged with a probation violation, as reported by the Riverside County Sheriff's Department.

The district's Special Enforcement Team, led by Sergeant Leeondre Radford, initiated the multi-month investigation that brought down these suspects, with the SET emphasizing their continued dedication to cracking down on organized retail crime.
