A fatal accident occurred at the intersection of S. El Capitan Way and Fawn Grove Drive when a 2008 GMC Envoy collided with a 2009 Harley Davidson Sportster 1200 Night motorcycle. The incident, which took place yesterday, is the 31st traffic-related death in the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department's jurisdiction for 2025. The collision involved 27-year-old Nathan Victorino Nonog, the driver of the GMC, and a 24-year-old male motorcyclist, whose identity is pending notification of next of kin.

According to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, the GMC was heading east on Fawn Grove Drive and stopped at the stop sign before turning left onto El Capitan Way, directly into the motorcyclist's path, who was traveling south. The motorcycle overturned and the rider was ejected onto the roadway which they were taken to the University Medical Centers Trauma Unit and despite all efforts by medical personnel the individual succumbed to their injuries.

Witness statements and video footage from the crash scene were collected and the LVMPD's Collision Investigation Section is leading the ongoing inquiry into the incident.
