A fatal motorcycle crash occurred last Sunday evening in Southeast Portland near Southeast McLoughlin Boulevard and Southeast Umatilla Street. Police responded around 7:30 p.m. and found the male rider with severe injuries, as reported by KPTV. 

A motorcyclist was transported to a local hospital but was later pronounced dead. The Portland Police Bureau’s Major Crash Team is investigating the incident. KATU reported that the crash involved only the motorcycle, with no other vehicles involved.

Authorities have closed surrounding streets as the Major Crash Team investigates a fatal accident. The identity of the deceased has not been released as authorities work to notify family members.
