
The Metropolitan Police Department is in the midst of an investigation after a man was fatally shot in Northwest Washington early Tuesday morning. The incident occurred in the 3100 block of 16th Street Northwest, where officers were called to the scene at 12:02 a.m. following reports of gunshots, according to a statement from Metropolitan Police Department.
Upon arrival, authorities found 22-year-old E’Zell Hill of Northeast, DC, unresponsive and with gunshot wounds. Despite the efforts of DC Fire and EMS responders, Hill's injuries were fatal and he was pronounced dead at the scene.
