A semi-truck crash early this morning caused significant delays on northbound I-5 near Kent. Local authorities and Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) officials closed lanes to clear the scene. Drivers were advised to expect delays or find alternate routes.
According to KOMO News, a front loader was brought in to help remove debris.
Washington State Patrol (WSP) Trooper Rick Johnson told KING 5 that the collision was minor, but traffic backup reached up to four miles.
The cause of the crash is being investigated, as per FOX 13 report.
