
A woman in Muskegon was reportedly held against her will and assaulted on Tuesday morning. The Muskegon Police Department received a call around 8:30 a.m. and arrested a 59-year-old Muskegon man. The victim was hospitalized, as mentioned by FOX17.
The incident happened at a home on the 900 block of Evanston Avenue. Officers surrounded the house and decided to go inside. "They made entry and found an injured woman inside." The 36-year-old woman was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, as reported by WOODTV. An assault occurred, leading to heightened security at three local schools, which were placed in secure mode until 11:30 a.m. the same day.
Authorities have not released the names of the suspect or victim. "Those with knowledge related to the incident are encouraged to connect with investigators," as per FOX17.
