The streets of Nashville were the scene of a violent altercation on January 29th, leading to the shooting of two men outside 87 Fain Street. The TITANS, Nashville's Specialized Investigations Division dedicated to addressing neighborhood shootings, has been arrested in connection with the incident. Kenyal Pinkerton, 24, was apprehended on Thursday for her alleged involvement in the shooting. According to information provided by the Nashville government's website, one victim, aged 39, was wounded in his legs, while the other, a 26-year-old man, was hit in the groin. Both are reported to be recovering.
Digging deeper into the events that unfolded, it was revealed that Pinkerton, together with three other acquaintances, were involved in a confrontation on Fain Street. The situation escalated and Pinkerton is said to have then gone to retrieve a gun, only to come back and open fire, wounding the two men. As a result, she now faces multiple charges including attempted criminal homicide, felony reckless endangerment, aggravated assault, and gun possession during the commission of a dangerous felony.
The arrest didn't just expose Pinkerton's alleged involvement in the Fain Street shooting. On the evening she was detained, it came to light that Pinkerton was also wanted on domestic assault charges. These charges stem from a separate altercation with a former girlfriend that took place on February 1, adding another layer to the already serious list of offenses.
For the shooting and the domestic assault incident combined, Pinkerton's bond totals $283,500. It was set by a judicial commissioner, reflecting the gravity of the crimes she is accused of having committed. Her legal journey now begins as she faces the charges laid before her, with the weight of the law and the expectations of justice forming the path she must follow next.
