Councilmember Beckles is advocating for first responders, highlighting her dedication to upholding the high standards of police and fire services that Goodyear residents rely on. "My heart is with police and fire," said Councilmember Beckles in a statement obtained by the City of Goodyear. Her experience on city committees bolsters her support for the ongoing initiatives by Goodyear Parks and Recreation. Beckles conveyed her sentiment, saying, "Having worked with Parks and Rec, I know that they are doing wonderful things." She added, "It’s helping our kids continue to grow and be good citizens by being involved in the various Parks programs."
Terry is focused on Goodyear's evolving community atmosphere as the city expands. His local background and international experiences have influenced his approach to maintaining the city's character while supporting its growth. "Goodyear is home," Councilmember Terry told the City of Goodyear. He continued to express his dedication to the city, stating, "And of all the places that I’ve lived around the world, there is nowhere I’d rather put down my roots than here. As we grow as a city, there will be growing pains, but its top of mind to make sure that we still provide our residents with the same level of city services they need."
