
A Blueline train collided with a passenger vehicle at 128 E Washington Blvd in Historic South-Central Los Angeles. The incident, documented under log number INC#0876, fortunately, did not result in injuries to any of the train's 50 occupants, as reported by the Los Angeles Fire Department (LAFD).
The driver of the vehicle involved in the crash declined medical treatment and transport services from the responding firefighters. "The train will be moved to the next station to allow all passengers to disembark," as stated by the LAFD. As for additional details surrounding the incident, the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) now holds the baton of inquiry under LAPD Inc# 1945.
LAFD units on scene, including Battalion Chief 1 and Engine 209 among others, oversaw the aftermath, ensuring the safety of all involved as Emergency Medical Services (EMS) assessed the situation. The Battalion Chief 13, Engine 210, Engine 9, EMS Battalion 1 and 11, Heavy Rescue 3, and Rescue Ambulance 209—along with Triage Team 10—all contributed to the swift assessment of the situation and the traffic control at the site of the collision.
