
The NYPD is seeking information related to a robbery incident that left a 17-year-old Bronx teenager without his cellphone and sneakers after being threatened with a knife by a group of six unidentified assailants. This robbery, which took place on February 6 in the vicinity of Harrod Place and Westchester Avenue, has prompted an appeal for public assistance to find the perpetrators. According to an NYPD Crimestoppers' Facebook post, the young victim encountered the group, was threatened, and had his property forcefully taken from him.
The NYPD 43rd Precinct, which covers the area, has confirmed the details of the crime. The assailants, whose identities remain unknown, have not been apprehended to date, but the police are actively searching for leads. An up to $3,500 reward has been offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the culprits.
