In a decisive intervention yesterday, an off-duty deputy from the Marin County Sheriff's Office employed a firearm to halt a violent dog attack in the Suisun area, as relayed by the sheriff's office. The incident, which occurred at around 10:30 a.m., involved two dogs assailing multiple individuals, presenting a threat that compelled the deputy to discharge two rounds, successfully subduing one canine and deterring the other from further aggression, as per the Marin County Sheriff's Office.

The Marin County Sheriff's Office has confirmed that an investigation is underway in collaboration with the Suisun City Police Department.
