This morning, a tragic incident unfolded on Ritchie Highway near Route 10 in Pasadena. A 47-year-old man, while riding a bicycle, fell victim to a fatal collision with a pickup truck. The accident, which caused the cyclist to suffer critical injuries, occurred at approximately 3:40 a.m., according to the authorities.
As reported by Eye on Annapolis, the man was quickly transported to the University of Maryland Baltimore Washington Medical Center. Despite the swift efforts of the medical professionals, he was pronounced dead at the hospital. The pickup truck involved in the accident has been identified as a 2017 Ford F150, operated by a 30-year-old man from the same town. The truck driver emerged unscathed from the collision, but it has not been revealed whether he will face any charges as the investigation continues.
