A pedestrian was hospitalized following a two-vehicle collision on the Historic Westside of Las Vegas, near the junction of D Street and Owens Avenue. The incident occurred on Monday morning just before 11 a.m., involving a sequence of events where one vehicle, after colliding with another, struck a pedestrian waiting at a close bus stop, as reported by FOX5 Vegas.
The pedestrian was taken to UMC hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. One driver also suffered minor injuries and is receiving medical care. Road closures caused a disruption in the area’s usual weekday flow, as per FOX5 Vegas.
In a similar reporting of the event, News 3 Las Vegas confirmed that Las Vegas Metropolitan Police did not believe impairment to be a factor in the crash. The involved drivers and their conditions were not further elaborated upon, leaving unanswered questions hanging like a mist in the arid desert air.
