Tragedy struck on Soscol Avenue yesterday when a pedestrian was fatally struck by a vehicle. According to the Napa Police Department, the incident occurred around 6:46 PM in the 100 block of southbound Soscol Avenue. Upon arrival, officers and medical personnel found a deceased male in the roadway, whose identity has yet to be released.
The driver involved in the collision remained at the scene and cooperated with the authorities. As reported by Napa PD, the investigation is ongoing, and at this stage, neither alcohol nor drugs are considered to be contributing factors. The Napa Police Department's Reconstruction Team has taken over to uncover the circumstances that led to this fatality.
