A string of vehicle burglaries in Perris led to the arrest of 35-year-old Krystal Gonzalez, following a swift response from local law enforcement.

Reportedly, on January 2, 2025, deputies from the Perris Sheriff's Station arrived at the 4000 block of Patterson Avenue at 7:30 p.m. to confront a situation where twelve individuals had their vehicles broken into and valuables stolen. Subsequently, it was noted that the stolen credit cards started clocking fraudulent charges, exacerbating the already distressful ordeal for the victims, whose losses summed up to thousands of dollars, both in terms of property and subsequent damages.

The Robbery Burglary Suppression Team (RBST) of the Perris Sheriff's Station took charge of the investigation which eventually led them to Gonzalez. According to the Riverside County Sheriff's official release, the breakthrough came when investigators pieced together evidence that pinpointed Gonzalez as the prime suspect.

On Tuesday, RBST deputies located, and arrested Gonzalez in Rancho Cucamonga. She faces multiple charges including parole violation, burglary, vandalism, fraudulent use of a credit card, and theft with priors. She was subsequently booked into the Cois Byrd Detention Center.
