The Philadelphia Police Department is seeking the assistance of the public in locating a missing 12-year-old boy named Aamil Alston. According to a press release on PhillyPolice.com, Aamil was reported missing from the 4200 block of N. Hicks Street by his mother. The young boy was last spotted on Saturday, at around 11:30 a.m., when he left the home.
Described as standing 5 feet tall and weighing approximately 120 pounds, Aamil has brown eyes and black hair. At the time of his disappearance, he wore a black hooded sweatshirt, gray sweatpants, a Nike windbreaker, and a black ski mask. The authorities have not yet provided any further details regarding the circumstances of Aamil's disappearance.
Community members are urged to come forward with any information that might aid in the safe return of Aamil Alston.
