Following the sighting of the vehicle, authorities initiated a pursuit that led to the execution of a precision immobilization technique, commonly known as a PIT maneuver, on the 15500 block of Pacific Avenue. Subsequently, four adult suspects were apprehended and taken into custody. Officials later determined that the black sedan was stolen and found one of the suspects to be carrying a pistol modified with a switch and an extended magazine. In an attempt to quickly apprehend the suspects, four deputies were injured and multiple vehicles sustained damage in the chaos.
The Pierce County Sheriff's Department confirmed that the suspects would be booked on various felony charges.
