
A tragic accident in Washington County has claimed the life of a 71-year-old Pittsburgh man. The Washington County Coroner's Office confirmed that James Krapp was the victim of a fatal tree-cutting accident on a friend's property in Hanover Township. This tragic event unfolded in a wooded area off Maxwell Road, as detailed by WPXI.
Coroner Tim Warco indicated that the accident occurred between 9 a.m. and 3:55 p.m. yesterday, with the pronouncement of death being made just before 7 p.m. The coroner's office has yet to release a cause and manner of death, pending an autopsy and further investigation.
