
Pittsburgh Police are currently investigating a shooting incident that occurred in the city's Shadyside neighborhood. The episode, which unfolded at approximately 2:30 p.m. on the 5500 block of Centre Avenue, reportedly involved two adult females engaged in an altercation before the shots were fired.
Investigators from Zone 4 rushed to the scene following reports from witnesses who observed the confrontation leading up to the gunfire. The Pittsburgh Police have not released names or further details regarding the individuals involved in the disturbance. A Mobile Crime Unit was dispatched to the location and is said to have processed all relevant evidence, which included one live casing and one spent casing, as shared by the City of Pittsburgh's blotter.
