In his role with the City of Atlanta, Wells managed a budget of $675 million and a workforce of 1,350 employees. He also directed a $1.2 billion capital improvement program. Wells holds a degree in civil engineering technology and has multiple professional licenses and leadership training.

As DeKalb’s new Director, Wells will oversee a multi-billion-dollar capital improvement program that includes both water treatment and the county’s wastewater infrastructure. His goal is to modernize and improve the county’s water services to meet the growing needs of DeKalb’s residents.
