Heavy rainfall in Southern California led to an unusual sight Thursday afternoon as an SUV was seen lodged in a North Hills wash. KTLA reports that a vehicle resembling a Kia Soul was found near Parthenia Street and Noble Avenue at approximately 12:40 p.m.

The Los Angeles Fire Department was swift to respond, with first-arriving companies reporting the silver SUV stuck against the entrance of a culvert. According to LAFD's alert, teams were dispatched under incident number 0914. Their detailed account indicated that no victims had been identified to swiftly clear the situation.

The vehicle was tilted slightly onto its side, resting against the entrance of a culvert, with water reaching the bottom of its doors. "As of 1:30 p.m., it was not immediately clear if anyone was trapped inside the vehicle or had been rescued," KTLA stated.
