A Riverbank High School teacher is now facing charges after the Stanislaus County Sheriff’s Office arrested her for alleged sexual involvement with a minor, officials confirmed this week. Dulce Flores, an educator who has been with the institution since 2016, was apprehended at her Riverbank home on Tuesday, as detailed in a social media post from Riverbank Police Services.
Flores is being charged with unlawful sexual intercourse stemming from her relationship with a 17-year-old male student that allegedly took place in 2023. This follows a tip received by a school official prompting an investigation into the matter, which uncovered the purported relationship and led to a warrant for Flores's arrest her bail has been set at $20,000.
The police have urged anyone with more information to come forward and have provided multiple avenues for contact, including an anonymous tip line via Stanislaus County Area Crime Stoppers.
