
Early Saturday morning, an ongoing dispute culminated in tragedy at Riverside's Villegas Park, where a woman was shot and killed, as detailed by the Riverside Police Department. Responding officers discovered 51-year-old Tuesday Perez of Riverside with a gunshot wound, efforts to save her life proved fruitless and she was pronounced dead at the scene.
Investigators conducted several hours of work to identify a suspect, in the case of Angela Ann Garcia, aged 49, also from Riverside, said the Riverside Police Department in a media release after her arrest following a low-speed pursuit by county sheriff's deputies she was then hospitalized for injuries sustained during the altercation before being booked into the Robert Presley Detention Center where she faces charges including murder with malice and being a felon in possession of a firearm.
