The suspect and his girlfriend were detained and then arrested on multiple felony charges, including possession of modified assault weapons, high capacity magazines, body armor, a homemade explosive device, and narcotics, compounded by their legal prohibition from owning firearms or ammunition, and investigators found what they believe was the firearm used during the road rage incident, the growing inventory of illicit items was revealed on Tuesday morning, as detailed by the Palmdale Sheriff's Station.

"Prior to the service of the search warrant, the primary suspect and a female he identified as his girlfriend, were detained as they left the residence. They were both later arrested and charged with numerous felony weapons violations as they were both legally prohibited from possessing firearms or ammunition. The primary suspect was also charged with possession of stolen property and possession of an explosive device," as stated by the Palmdale Sheriff's Station.
