
The Rocklin Police Department reported that two juvenile suspects from Sacramento, known for past burglaries, drove a stolen vehicle to a closed gas station. They broke the front door and stole a cash register and cigarettes worth about $1,000, as reported by the Rocklin Police Department.
The suspects were identified after law enforcement utilized advanced technology. The California Highway Patrol Auto Theft Detectives located the stolen vehicle at a Sacramento hotel early in the morning. After the suspects left the hotel, they were apprehended, as stated by the Rocklin Police Department.
According to the Rocklin Police Department on their Facebook page, Detectives and the COPPS Unit, in collaboration with California Highway Patrol, arrested juveniles facing multiple felony charges, including Burglary, Felony Conspiracy, Felony Vandalism, Grand Theft, and the execution of a Felony Warrant. The arrests were made before the officers' first morning coffee break, demonstrating effective inter-agency cooperation and efficient law enforcement protocols.
