Details on the temple's facelift include the careful removal, cleaning, and restoration of its six tower features and the emblematic Angel Moroni statue, which was recently re-gilded with new 14-carat gold leaf and reinstated above the ground at a staggering height of 210 feet in April 2024. According to Deseret News, the meticulous work not only preserves the temple’s historical significance but also ensures its structural integrity and beauty for future generations to admire.
