A luxury Moab resort was ordered closed after Utah regulators found its water-treatment system had failed and guests may have received unsafe water.

Utah has reported 48 cyclosporiasis cases since May 1, including five with no travel outside the state. Officials say none have been linked to the national lettuce outbreak.

Brynn Carnesecca, the former Miss American Fork, died by suicide at 21 while preparing for another pageant appearance. Friends say she had been in therapy and believed she was doing better.
