Meanwhile, Ziply Fiber is allowed to continue with site restoration work, including landscaping and road patching, weather permitting, and continues to restore some sense of normalcy despite the ongoing changes.
Local traffic near Sammamish may also experience delays due to developments beyond its borders, as the City of Redmond begins a temporary road closure on 187th Avenue Northeast near the Sammamish city limit for a short plat development project known as The Cove, located in Redmond. The road will be closed between East Lake Sammamish Parkway Northeast and Northeast 53rd Street, with a detour along East Lake Sammamish Parkway Northeast and Redmond-Fall City Road NE (SR 202) set up to redirect traffic during the closure. The closure, which began on January 29, is expected to last for approximately eight working days, with working hours from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday.
