According to posts on the City of Godley Fire Department's social media, a vehicle accident near FM2331 and Sky Road in Godley resulted in an intense search for a possible victim. As reported, the incident happened when a vehicle turned onto its side, prompting local emergency services, including Engine 374 and Brush 374 from the City of Godley Fire Department, CareFlite, and law enforcement, to respond urgently to the scene.

Citizens were urged to exercise extreme caution as emergency vehicles and fire personnel operated within the roadway. The accident, which initially seemed routine, escalated as crews began to search the vicinity to locate the elusive victim thoroughly. This led to a substantial increase in law enforcement and responders in the area.

A breakthrough came late into the night when drone operations conducted by the Johnson County Sheriff's Office led to the discovery of the victim in the 9000 block of County Road 1004. "After successful drone operations by JCSO, the victim was found," detailed the update from the City of Godley Fire Department.
