His vehicle and phone were discovered in a gravel parking lot along Westinghouse Road in Derry Township, according to CBS News Pittsburgh. The man, known for his hobbies of hiking and fishing in the area, was last seen wearing an orange hoodie and khaki cargo pants, family members reported their concern prompting the authorities to embark on a widespread search.
Dofollo's unlocked car with his cell phone inside, findings that sparked the search efforts, were located Wednesday by pinging his cellphone and, despite the use of a bloodhound team from the Greensburg Volunteer Fire Department that combed the vicinity, there were negative results, as reported by WTAE. The search continued over subsequent days, including Friday, but concluded around 3 p.m. with Dofollo's unknown whereabouts.
Various agencies have joined the ongoing search for Dofollo, with the Pennsylvania Game Commission and the state police's Aviation Patrol Unit contributing resources along the Conemaugh River area, the aviation unit conducting an aerial search. State police assert that foul play is not suspected in Dofollo's disappearance, the man described 5 feet 11 inches tall, weighing 185 pounds, having brown eyes and short gray hair; the authorities stress that anyone with information about his whereabouts should call 911 immediately.
