The City of St. Louis Park, Minnesota and the local rotary club bundled up joy and community spirit in an annual celebration that transformed Oak Hill Park into a winter wonderland of activities. The City's social media post commemorated the event, noting that "We had a wonderful winter fun day partnering with St. Louis Park Rotary Club to host the annual BundledUp! event on Saturday, Jan. 25 at Oak Hill Park." Visitors had the chance to mingle with first responders, while also enjoying wildlife exhibits, games, crafts and the classic treat of s’mores.

The day's festivities were designed to not only entertain but to foster a greater sense of unity within the community. Families were treated to the warm presence of the St. Louis Park Fire and Police Departments, ensuring residents to easily interact with those pledged to protect them. Meanwhile, the local fauna was brought closer thanks to the Westwood Hills Nature Center. These interactions subtly strengthened the threads of communal fabric—weave by weave, smile by smile.

The event was marked by the presence of the St. Louis Park Parktacular Ambassadors Royalty, who assisted in serving up hot cocoa—a staple of such gatherings. According to the Rotary Club, they also conducted a raffle featuring prizes from Aquatic Park and works by artist Adam Thurman. The event was supported by Discover St Louis Park among others, showcasing the collaborative nature of the community's business and philanthropic sectors.

Even in the heart of winter, it seems the City of St. Louis Park and its people know how to throw a party that warms the heart. Year after year, BundledUp! serves to remind us all of the resilient joy found in community connection, despite the frosty air trying to tell a different tale. And on this particular Saturday, the fire of community was more than enough to keep the cold well at bay.
