The initiative, set for Wednesday from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m., at the Municipal Service Center located at 7305 Oxford St., seeks to empower individuals with knowledge about waste reduction, recycling, and composting so they can inspire and inform others.
The program is designed not only to educate but also to create a network of informed ambassadors who can take the knowledge back to their neighborhoods, acting as a force multiplying effect for good environmental practices they will share what they've learned with friends, family, neighbors, promising to ripple out through the community.
