
In what appears to be a deliberate act of destruction coupled with theft, the Stockton Police Department is on the lookout for an individual who caused chaos at a Stockton business. According to a social media bulletin released by the department, the unidentified male suspect is accused of setting fire to a clothing rack and then fleeing the scene with stolen merchandise.
The incident, which unfolded on December 18, occurred within the 4700 block of Quail Lakes Dr., as reported by the Stockton Police Department. The male suspect reportedly entered the unnamed business and, "lit a rack of clothes on fire." Shortly after igniting the blaze, he was described to have exited through an emergency door, with a cart brimming with goods he had not paid for.
Stockton Police have issued an appeal to the public, urging anyone with information regarding the case (#24-38261) to step forward. Witnesses or those with knowledge of the suspect's identity are being encouraged to help further the investigation. Stockton Police's outreach emphasized the potential for a cash reward for tips leading to an arrest.
In an effort to aid the investigation and apprehend the culprit, the department's communication pointedly requests community involvement.
