An arrest has been made in relation to a theft ring at the Los Angeles Port, with 25-year-old Denis Fuentes from Gardena being taken into custody. Fuentes is accused of participating in the theft of truck chassis from container terminals, a scheme that reportedly generated millions in illicit revenue. The investigation, which efficiently spanned several months, was led by the Los Angeles Port Police in cooperation with the LAPD’s Commercial Crimes Division Cargo Theft Unit (CTU). Their joint operation culminated in the discovery and recovery of 24 stolen chassis, valued at around $600,000. The recovered property was found in Gardena, linking Fuentes directly to the alleged crimes. Upon his arrest, Fuentes was booked at the LAPD's 77th Jail under booking number #6963801.
