
A tragic shooting on Jacksonville's Westside has claimed the life of a 15-year-old boy, local authorities say. The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office indicated that the teen was fatally shot after an alleged altercation near 11000 Nathaniel Gorham Way around 9 p.m. First Coast News reports the teen was transported to a nearby hospital but later succumbed to his injuries.
