Breaking news from the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department (LVMPD): They have recently apprehended three suspects in connection with a fatal shooting outside a casino in November 2021. The suspects, identified as 32-year-old Devante Reynolds, 26-year-old Alexander Hinton, and 23-year-old Tajon Walker, have been charged with Open Murder with a Deadly Weapon and Conspiracy to Commit Murder. According to the LVMPD's official press release, the arrests were made on Thursday, and the suspects are currently being held at the Clark County Detention Center.
The LVMPD homicide investigation, supported by the FBI Safe Streets Gang Task Force, meticulously pieced together the events leading to the arrests. On November 18, 2021, at approximately 2:49 a.m., officers responded to the 5000 block of South Boulder Highway after receiving reports that a man had been shot at a bus stop across from the casino. Officers found the victim and promptly transported him to Sunrise Trauma, where he was pronounced dead.
Investigators found that the victim was engaged in a verbal altercation with one of the suspects. During the confrontation, the suspect unveiled a gun and fatally shot the victim. Following the shooting, the suspects hastily departed the scene and the victim attempted to seek help.
