The F.R.E.E. International Organization led a task force operation to address the issue of missing and exploited children in Las Vegas. The "Big Search Missing & Exploited Children Task Force Operation" took place between February 3 and 7, resulting in the safe recovery of seven missing children, as reported by the Nevada State Police.
A multi-agency task force, including the Nevada Department of Public Safety/State Police, UNLV Police Department, and local juvenile services and church groups, convened at the UNLV Tourist Safety Institute. The operation, which lasted five days, focused on locating juveniles identified as victims of human trafficking and those listed as missing or endangered. The task force aimed to utilize available resources and foster collaboration among law enforcement and community organizations to support future efforts, as stated by the Nevada State Police.
According to the Nevada State Police on their Facebook page, the task force located the missing children and gathered intelligence, which has been submitted to local law enforcement for ongoing exploitation-related investigations. F.R.E.E. International provided resources to support the children’s recovery and transition to survivors. The operation is part of the broader effort to address child exploitation and disappearance.
