The Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI) is asking for information regarding the murder of 21-year-old Brianna Long, who was shot and killed while working as a bartender at The Pier in Remerton, GA, on October 29, 2023. The Georgia Bureau of Investigation has charged Tsion Clayton, 23, and Kimone Green, 21, both of Lowndes County, GA, with Malice Murder in connection to Long’s death.

The shooting also led to the aggravated assault of another employee, who has since recovered. The Georgia Bureau of Investigation and Remerton Police Department are working together on the investigation. Clayton and Green were arrested in unrelated cases—Clayton in Georgia and Green in Florida. Authorities believe the men were in Remerton targeting another individual connected to a gang feud when the shooting occurred.

A $25,000 reward is being offered for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of those responsible for Long’s death. Tips can be submitted to the GBI Thomasville Office at 229-225-4090, anonymously by phone at 1-800-597-TIPS (8477), online through the Georgia Bureau of Investigation website, or via the See Something, Send Something mobile app.

On November 17, 2023, the Georgia Bureau of Investigation released a video asking for help identifying three men seen in the Baytree Place shopping plaza on the day of the homicide. These individuals are wanted for questioning in connection with Long's murder. The Georgia Bureau of Investigation responded to the shooting after multiple patrons and vehicles were involved in the incident outside The Pier Bar. An autopsy was performed by a GBI Medical Examiner to determine Long's cause of death. The investigation remains active, and the Southern Judicial Circuit District Attorney's Office will prosecute once the case file is complete.
