Two individuals are currently receiving medical treatment in critical condition following their rescue from a flaming apartment last Saturday night. The emergency unfolded near N New Braunfels Ave and Brees Blvd at approximately 10:55 p.m., as reported by FOX San Antonio.
First responders from the San Antonio Fire Department were quick to arrive on the scene, where they discovered the fire blazing within a back bedroom on the building's first floor. Efforts by firefighters to immediately rescue are credited with saving the two victims from the engulfing inferno, later transporting them to safely receive hospital care under critical conditions, according to News 4 San Antonio.
